What this course is

This course eliminates comeback-quality wirework. You’ll learn connection and harness finishing standards that are structurally secure, visually clean, and serviceable—aligned to the ARKTIK Installer Standard (AIS).

If your goal is “OEM or better,” this is the discipline.

Who this is for

  • Installers who want higher pay through higher trust

  • Shops that want fewer failures and fewer disputes

  • Anyone who wants harness work that looks factory (or better)

What youll be able to do

  1. Perform proper military splices consistently

  2. Solder correctly for strength and conductivity (avoid brittle failures)

  3. Seal with heat shrink (adhesive-lined where needed)

  4. Loom and route for heat/abrasion/vibration protection

  5. Apply TESA tape for OEM appearance and durability

  6. QC wirework with a pass/fail standard and proof checklist

AIS Workmanship Rules (Non-Negotiable)

Not acceptable: T-taps/quick taps, twist-and-tape, exposed copper, unsecured runs, unprotected routing, undocumented changes.

What you leave with (Job Packet)

  • Wirecraft standards sheet (step-by-step)

  • Connection QC checklist (pass/fail)

  • Photo proof checklist (what to document)

  • Rework-prevention guide (common failure patterns)

  • Routing/protection standard sheet (OEM routing principles)

Optional: KITKRA Desk Access (18+)

KITKRA supports QC documentation, proof discipline, and clean recheck narratives. Support, not instruction.
