Curriculum & Tracks Overview

A single spine. Multiple tracks.
Standards-aligned, print-first, and built for complex lives.

ARKTIK Education is not a random collection of courses. It is a documented curriculum spine for grades 5–12 with clear standards alignment and multiple tracks that can flex to your household, microschool, or program.

This page gives you the high-level map: what we teach, how it aligns to recognized standards, and how the tracks fit together.

The ARKTIK Curriculum Spine

Across all tracks, ARKTIK aligns to established standards so families, schools, and courts are not guessing.

Core Academic Standards

  • English Language Arts (ELA):
Common Core ELA, with TEKS alignment for Texas (grade-banded 5–12).

  • Mathematics:
Common Core Math, with TEKS alignment for Texas.

  • Science:
NGSS Middle School and high-school progressions.

  • Social Studies / Civics:
C3 Framework plus state civics requirements where applicable.

Additional Frameworks We Draw From

  • World languages: CEFR (A2–B1) with ACTFL mapping.

  • Digital citizenship & tech: ISTE Standards for Students.

  • Computer science: CSTA 6–12.

  • Library & research skills: AASL Framework for Learners.

  • Agritech / CTE: Advance CTE (CCTC) and AFNR pathway for agriculture.

  • PE, health, arts, and financial literacy: SHAPE America, NCCAS, and CEE National Standards where relevant.

Every lesson and module is tagged with 1–3 standard codes so you can see exactly what’s being covered.

Core Subjects

(Grades 5–12)

At the center of every ARKTIK track is a core set of subjects, delivered in print-first Word workbooks a nd mirrored in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Forms, SharePoint).

    • Structured writing sequence (sentences → paragraphs → essays → research).

    • Reading across narrative, informational, and civic texts.

    • Integrated media and argument analysis (especially in upper grades).

    • Pre-algebra through algebra and beyond, mapped to TEKS/CCSS.

    • Emphasis on problem setups, units, and real-world word problems.

    • Strong scaffolds for students who have gaps in earlier grades.

    • Physical, life, earth, and environmental science anchored in NGSS.

    • Hands-on and observational tasks that can be done in ordinary households, not labs-only settings.

    • Clear separation between what must be memorized and what must be reasoned through.

    • History and civics framed through inquiry, not partisan messaging.

    • Document-based questions (DBQs) suitable for court, agency, and scholarship portfolios.

    • Emphasis on rights, responsibilities, and civic dignity.

    • HomeOps Modules – curriculum-only kits for independent households.

    • Structured Tracks – modules plus pacing and feedback.

    • Orchestrated Tracks – full-year guidance with 90-day plans and reporting.

Electives & Formation Tracks

On top of the core spine, learners can add electives. These can be run as light-touch enrichment or as serious, documented coursework.

World Languages

  • Italian – CEFR A2→B1 focused on practical communication and cultural literacy.

  • Hebrew & Jewish Studies – language basics plus structured exploration of Jewish texts and history for students and families who choose this track.

Arts & Media

  • Photography & Film – composition, visual storytelling, lighting, and basic editing, geared toward responsible media literacy and portfolio pieces.

Technical & Discipleship Tracks

  • RUST (programming) – modern systems programming concepts for serious learners, not toy coding games.

  • Biblical Studies (elective) – opt-in exploration of Scripture as text and moral framework, with clear separation from formal Assembly ministry activities.

  • Kita Hyōkai (Hybrid Martial Discipline) – mindset, discipline, and body-control curriculum, with any physical practice layered on responsibly through local instruction and safety norms.

Electives are available as:

  • Add-ons to a core 90-day plan or track.

  • Standalone modules for microschools and pods that already have core curriculum in place.

High-Commitment Competitive Tracks

These tracks are selective and higher-cost because they require more structure, documentation, and in some cases third-party coordination.

ARKTIK Agritech – MicroFarms

  • Each student cultivates 10 distinct plant varieties to a rigorously documented standard.

  • Plant “passports” modeled on Swiss-style documentation expectations.

  • Daily and weekly tasks embed:

    • Observation,

    • Measurement,

    • Recordkeeping,

    • Stewardship and patience.

Deliverables:

  • Plant passport portfolio,

  • Reflective logs,

  • Practical science and agritech literacy.

First Flights Track

  • Ground-school style education leading to a documented “first flight readiness” milestone.

  • Students study:

    • The stages of flight,

    • Pilot procedures,

    • Safety and checklists,

    • Airspace and basic weather.

  • Goal: each participant reaches a level of competence where a supervised first flight at a local municipal or private airport is a meaningful capstone, not a novelty.

These tracks are designed as competitive electives: limited seats, higher bar, and a direct impact on confidence and future narratives (applications, interviews, scholarships).

How Tracks Are Structured

Across ARKTIK Education, you will see three main track types:

HomeOps Curriculum (Curriculum Only)

  • Student Textbook (Word/PDF)

  • Assessment Workbook

  • Parent/Mentor Companion

  • Independent Student Companion

Best for:

  • Confident homeschoolers and microschools who want rigorous materials but do not need live support.

Orchestrated Tracks (90-Day & Full-Year)

Built around the 90-Day ARKTIK Plan:

  • Customized 90-day plan for your student/household.

  • Regular live check-ins (Teams) according to tier.

  • End-of-cycle documentation suitable for schools, courts, agencies, or scholarship files.

Best for:

  • Court- or agency-involved youth.

  • Health-affected and neurodivergent learners needing tight coordination.

  • High-aspiration learners with complex schedules.

Structured Tracks (Guided)

  • Everything in HomeOps, plus:

  • Pacing plans (week-by-week).

  • Feedback on key assignments.

  • Monthly progress summaries.

Best for:

  • Students who drift without external structure.

  • Households that need a second set of eyes on academics.

Neuro-Ready by Default, Neuro-Enhanced by Design

All ARKTIK materials are baseline neuro-ready:

  • Sans-serif fonts, clear spacing, predictable layouts.

  • Written-first instructions and explicit steps.

  • Print-first copies for households with unstable connectivity.

For households and programs that need more:

  • Neuro-Enhanced variants offer:

    • Larger fonts, greater white space, fewer tasks per page.

    • Visual icons and schedules for Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences.

    • Additional scaffolds for executive function and processing.

Neuro-Enhanced materials can be layered onto any track and are standard in Neuro-Enhanced and Concierge 90-day plans.

Custom-Built Lessons, Modules, and Courses – On Your Timeline

Sometimes the catalog isn’t enough. A student, microschool, or program needs a specific standard, theme, or scenario addressed now—not next semester.

ARKTIK can custom-build on top of our existing spine:

  • Custom Lesson – delivered within 1 hour of purchase
A single, standards-aligned lesson with student pages and answer key, tailored to your situation. Ideal when you need a serious work sample or one targeted skill builder before a meeting, evaluation, or court date.

  • Custom Module – delivered within 72 hours of purchase
A focused mini-unit (typically 5–10 lessons) around one goal—argument writing, foundational algebra, civics basics, etc. Includes assessments and plain-language guidance for adults.

  • Custom Course – delivered within 1–2 weeks of final consultation
A full quarter or semester course, built around your constraints and standards, with pacing guide, assessments, and companion materials for parents, mentors, or educators.

All custom work is:

  • Tagged to the relevant standards (state, national, or program-level),

  • Built print-first and M365-ready, and

  • Designed to slot directly into a 90-Day Plan, microschool track, or program pilot.

Turnaround times apply to scoped projects using ARKTIK’s existing frameworks and are calculated from payment (for lessons/modules) or from the final scoping consult (for full courses), during normal business hours.

How Curriculum Connects to Programs & Systems

This curriculum spine feeds directly into ARKTIK’s system-facing work:

  • Courts and DRCs – Divorcing Gracefully™ and other kits use the same ELA, civics, and household-structure modules.

  • Schools and districts – ARKTIK Rain and truancy re-engagement work pull from the same core ELA and routine content.

  • Shelters, ministries, and housing programs – ARKTIK Berg crisis kits are shortened, print-first versions of these modules.

  • VR and workforce partners – readiness pilots draw on MicroFarms, executive function supports, and documentation skills.

You are not buying an isolated workbook. You are stepping into a coherent system of content that can be recognized and documented in multiple jurisdictions.
